Rev 21:5 - "Behold! I make all things new!"

You can know all the Bible Stories but miss the Story of the Bible. And without the latter, the former lose much of their meaning. Therefore, let's tell the "Story of the Bible" as succinctly as possible!

  1. God's Original Creation - In the beginning God created the spiritual world: first Heaven and the spiritual beings (Hebrew elohim), then (Ref. 1) the physical world: Earth and Humans. At this time Heaven and Earth were not separate, as they are now. Instead, the physical and spiritual worlds were together. Adam and Eve walked and talked with God daily. We cannot imagine how wonderful this was because we have never experienced it!

  2. The War In Heaven Came to Earth - Some of the angels rebelled and brought Sin and Death into our world. Since that time every human being is born under a curse, with a sin nature that disqualifies us from Heaven. In addition, the whole world is now controlled by the Devil (Ref. 2). Satan controls the ideals, opinions, goals, and views of most people. His influence includes the world’s politics, philosophies, education, and commerce. The false religions of the world are led by his fallen angels. He is the root cause of family breakup, poverty, disease, war, and social injustice. Holy Spirit once told me,

"You have no idea how tight Satan's stranglehold on the world is!"

  3. Jesus Rescued Us - Through His sacrificial death on the Cross nearly 2000 years ago, Jesus paid the price for our sins, defeated death, and provided a way for us to enter Heaven (John 3:16, 14:6). He provided the antidote for our fatal disease. This is the Good News of the Gospel! All we have to do is receive it. And God won't settle for a reconditioned version of the old you. Instead He will make you a New Creation!

  4. Now It's Harvest Time - Christians continually ask, "What delays the return of Jesus?" The answer is simple: We delay it! Before the beginning of time God appointed the number of children who will be in His Heavenly family (Rom 11:25). Once that number is reached Jesus will return. Jesus commissioned His church to perform this work. Consequently, when you work in the soul Harvest you hasten the return of Jesus. And when you don't, you delay it.

  5. God's New Creation - In the end Heaven and Earth will be reunited again. And God won't settle for a reconditioned version of the old Creation - marred by sin and decay. Instead He will make a New Creation (Rev 21-22). It will be even more glorious than the first Creation and will last forever!
  1. Job 38:4,7 recounts how the angels watched the Creation of the physical world and rejoiced! Unfortunately, word-for-word English translations of the Bible (the majority) fail to point out that the terms "morning stars" and "sons of God" are standard OT Hebrew idioms for angels.

  2. John 14:30, 2 Cor 4:4, Eph 2:2, John 12:31, 1 John 5:19
