5. Return of Ancient Demonic Spirits

History repeats itself because evil spirits (Eph 6:12ff) do not die like ordinary mortal men. And their tactics don't change. Therefore, to understand the present, look to the past.

  • Gender confusion - LGBTQ, hyper-sexuality, sex trafficking, child sacrifice (abortion). . . . These current issues are a resurgence of the ancient depraved Canaanite and Mesopotamian culture and the evil spirits whom they worshiped (Baal, Ashtoreth, Molech). In addition to child sacrifice and ritual sex, their priests and priestesses dressed in transvestite garb. Incest and venereal dibsease were rampant.

  • Antisemitism and the Continual Mideast War - The unreasoning hatred of certain Muslim nations towards Israel goes all the way back to the original hostility between Jacob (the promised child whose offspring founded Israel) and Esau (the child of natural birth whose offspring founded the Arab nations).

Why are these ancient spirits reappearing so prominently in our time? Is it because they know that the End Times have begun and their time is short? Is this part of their “last-ditch” effort to forestall their inevitable defeat and final judgment?
