This is our beautiful daughter Luanna, whose struggle with a bipolar disorder began when she was 21. It was not diagnosed early enough or treated aggressively enough to save her.
Luanna was homeschooled and grew up in church. She was quiet and observant. But she also had joy and energy. Luanna could be a tomboy one moment, then dress up in frilly pink the next. Although petite, she played on the boys' soccer team because the girls were not competitive enough! The boys on her team once blamed her when they lost a playoff game. "We lost because we had a girl on our team!" She quickly reminded them, "But I scored BOTH of our goals!!!"
When she graduated from high school Luanna told God that she wanted to do BIG THINGS for Him.
Just love other people and show them My love.
Luanna was a gifted conversationalist and writer. She was awarded a scholarship to Lee University and graduated with honors in 2008. She married Andrew Parratt (US Army) after graduation and had two step-children. For the first year of her married life she was a military wife.
