Our church always ends each service with a time where members can come to the altar to pray. Our altar rail spans the width of the church. Plenty of room for everyone! I always take advantage of this time because my need is ALL the time! One day a young woman visiting from the local rehab center knelt down to pray. But instead of praying she burst into uncontrollable sobbing. So I started praying for her. After a while I touched her gently on her shoulder.
"M'am, I think I hear God speaking to you. He is telling you,
I have heard your cries!
I have heard your prayers!
I will be with you.
I will take you through this thing.
Our God is sooooo compassionate! Several days later she gave her life to Jesus and was saved. But I never saw her again. I wish I knew more of the story!
