Returning Home

Our time as short-term missionaries was up all too soon! I was reluctant to return home! Missionaries widely agree that returning home from a mission trip can be anticlimactic. My return was no exception. As I walked into my house nobody even said hi to me. I told the Lord,

"It’s not that they don’t understand. It’s that they don’t care to understand. This trip just puts a bigger gap between me and my family.”

But it brings you closer to Me!
