9. Persecution of Christians

Another End Time sign mentioned by Jesus is persecution of Christians on a scale larger than ever before. That is precisely what we are seeing. Christians are now the most persecuted people group on Earth! I don’t want to be a passive bystander. I pray for them every morning and contribute to an agency (VOM) that helps persecuted Christians.

By the time the 5th seal is opened, Heaven will be full of Christian martyrs who cry out to God for justice. (Rev 6:10, NIV) "How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, before you judge the inhabitants of the Earth and avenge our blood?"

A sobering thought: One day I will stand in Heaven next to martyrs. And some of them will be children!
