1. Most People Will Be Unaware and Unconcerned

The World – Jesus warned us that the End Times will begin just like the days of Noah. The people of that time were so totally consumed by their daily affairs that they ignored Noah's repeated warnings. Therefore the Flood caught them completely by surprise and swept them all away. That will be the condition of the world when the End Times begin. Most people will be clueless about what is happening.

The Church – Sadly, most church people will not be ready either. In Matthew 25 Jesus tells the parable of the 10 virgins (representing the church) waiting at night for the bridegroom (Jesus' 2nd coming). Because He was a long time in coming, they all became drowsy and fell asleep. According to Jesus, that will be the condition of the church when He returns: unaware and unconcerned. I don’t want Jesus to find me asleep when He comes back!
