How can I tell if I am filled with the Spirit? The Lord tells me, "If it's there, it will shine brightly for everyone to see. And if it's not, there's no way you can fake it."

How often should I refill with the Holy Spirit? How often should you refill the gas tank of your vehicle?

How do I choose between God's Word vs. the Holy Spirit? The Baptists have one, the Pentecostals have the other. But God wants you to have BOTH.

Will I still have troubles after being Spirit-filled? Only for as long as your heart continues to beat.

Will I experience continual love pouring down from Heaven? Special mountain-top experiences do occur from time to time. But being Spirit-filled is a "use-it-or-lose-it" thing. If you want a fresh Spirit-infilling, get busy doing God's work.

I'm confused about the Baptism of the Holy Spirit vs. the Infilling of the Spirit vs. a Second Work of Grace. Apparently, so is everyone else! Some people will endlessly debate over whether that thing on the dinner plate is a hamburger or a cheeseburger. But those who are hungry will simply sit down and eat. Mmmmmm good!

I don't want to wave my hands in the air and get all excited in church. Then don't. But why do you do it at a football game?

If I get Spirit-filled, won't some people give me a hard time? Yes.

Will God ask me to straighten out the world? He'll probably ask you to straighten out yourself.

How can I force someone else to receive the Holy Spirit? God didn't force you to receive His Holy Spirit. He courted you until you fell in love with Him. Let Him court others.

What if my spouse and family don't want to step into this new life with me? They may not. But if you wait for others before you begin the journey, you may wait a lifetime. As the Lord once explained to me, "It's not about a walk with others. It's about a walk with Me." Start walking!

Will this affect my marriage? You bet! The flesh and the Spirit can never be at peace with one another. But the Spirit-filled spouse should have the unconditional agape love needed to maintain the relationship.

There's a lot about this that I don't understand. There's a lot about this that you will NEVER understand. God is VERY VERY BIG! And we are very very small.
