Before I was Baptized in the Spirit, I was 'judged' by God. He replayed my entire life before me in "bullet time" and allowed me to see the absolute truth about myself - particularly about my motives. It was the most intense and sobering experience of my life! There was no sense of condemnation; just a total awareness that everything I saw was true. I later heard something transformational on the topic by Asian pastor Steve Cioccolanti. Consequently, I have a minority opinion regarding God's Judgment. The majority opinion is self-centered; the minority opinion is God-centered. Are you willing to think outside the box?
God has a lot of critics! From the beginning of time He's been accused by both men and angels. There are also a lot of people in Hell who don't think that they belong there. In the minority view the Judgment isn't just about finding out who's naughty and nice. God already knows the complete truth about everyone. The Judgment is mostly about God vindicating His character before the entire universe. It's the time and place where every person and all the elohim (spiritual beings) will finally understand and acknowledge the truth about who they really are, what they did, and what they failed to do. The Judgment will be the end of every excuse, every rationalization, every attempt to blame circumstances or others, and every attempt to deny responsibility. It will be the end of all murmuring, doubts, arguments, and complaints against God. The truth that God reveals will be so supernaturally clear that no one will ever again question His decisions or His character. This is the Day when all created beings will fully acknowledge that God is perfectly fair and righteous. Then the Book of this Age will be closed, the present Creation will be destroyed and replaced by a New Heavens and a New Earth, and we will step into the Eternal Kingdom!
