14. Increase of Evil

(2 Tim 3:1-5) “There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.”

Many great thinkers and philosphers of the past believed that as knowledge and technology progressed, people would also progress and become better & better. But that's not what has happened. Progress in technology and knowledge has not made us better people. Nearly 2,000 years ago the Apostle Paul warned that the exact opposite will happen . He said that in the End Times evil will increase like an infectious disease.
