Nothing Is Small to God

Bob

(Mar 08) What if God asked you to do something very small – like patiently search for a penny that had fallen under your car seat? That is what I was doing one afternoon, simply because I felt that is what the Lord wanted me to do. Sometimes it pays to not ask questions, because when I finally found the coin, Holy Spirit spoke to my heart.

"God uses everything done in faith, no matter how small!"

Even something so inconsequential as searching for a lost penny under a car seat? Apparently so, if done in faith. To think that in God‟s economy, nothing I do in faith will ever be lost or wasted - no matter how small or insignificant it might seem in my own eyes! Conversely, if it is not done in faith . . . . no matter how grand and important it might seem …. it will someday burn in God‟s consuming (incinerator) fire! The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through (agape) love.
